BGW thanks the many organizations, sponsors, participants, volunteers, vendors, exhibitors, musicians, artists etc. that made BGW 2008 a huge success - THANK YOU ALL!!!

2008 BGW was spectacular! We are pleased that BGW grew in every measure -- attendance, diversity and in the number of programs! At both the Van Jones and Building Healthy Green Home events the event space was filled to capacity with approximately 100 adults, 140 children and 20 teenagers at the Building Healthy Green Home event and an exceptionally enthusiastic audience that filled Morgan State University's auditorium at the Van Jones event. EVERY single program was a huge success! The EcoFestival was a blast. All day people used the free bikes, walked the labyrinth, ate healthy tasty food, browsed the vendors and exhibitors, listened to music and viewed art. The Eco-kids section was filled with kids playing and learning about the environment - it was a total hit!
